Whilst I am a bloke from Down Under (Sydney, Australia) I have been presenting courses, seminars and workshops on Importing and Exporting for some seventeen years. I have seen the attendees change from a small percentage of women in the early 90’s to a stage where over the last 3 or 4 years, the average majority is now women.

And the results that many women have achieved have been very creative.

I met Janet at a conference last year and was very impressed by her no-nonsense approach to business. Her idea of interviewing top internet business women around the world and getting them to share their success stories for free is a wonderful way of building up a network of like-minded people and creating massive goodwill. I’ve listened to a couple of Janet’s teleseminars and learned a lot … in fact there’s almost too much info to take in! Highly recommended for beginners on the internet and more seasoned professionals.

I love the way Janet transcribes everything and provides bullet points of the interview contents - saves me hours of wading through audios trying to find the key points.
She has really thought about how to provide her information in multiple formats to meet everyone’s needs - we try to do the same, and Janet is an inspiring role model.

I don’t usually subscribe to membership sites. This is mostly because I haven’t been convinced that they will offer me what I need.

I took Janet up on her OTO (something I don’t much either)and I have never regretted it.

Women think and act differently than men and it has been wonderful to start approaching internet marketing from a different perspective.

Many of the male IM events are like major sporting events - loud and adrenaline packed. There are quieter ones which tend to focus on “just the facts ma’am”.

I don’t want to get pumped or given a spec list, I want to get things done, develop concepts, and see the big picture.

What I have learned from Janet’s work is that the female approach is like a chamber music concert at an old country estate. Like music, it stimulates both the intellect and the feelings.

It’s all so calm and rational. I don’t leave tired like I do with a lot of the men I’ve listened to. I get tired because of the pep rally factor or because they give me all of the facts but make no application or how it fits into real life.

Men who think women have no power in internet marketing need to remember that Web 2.0 is women’s territory because women are more relational and Web 2.0 is all about relationships.

The internet is changing and Janet Beckers is a pioneer.
